The goal of DVA is to capture the feel of the local vernacular architecture and that of the development as a whole. The facility will include: a fitness center, lounge with stone fireplace, mudroom access, soft seating and groupings with tables for games, etc., a demonstration kitchen open to the lounge, a coffee station and bar, book shelves for DVD’s and books, a newsstand and general store, an internet computer station, Concierge desk/station, multi-use area for; dance/exercise, adult lectures, group meetings, kids parties, kids club – arts and crafts/boy/girl scout meeting/massage room. Amenities will also include; extensive hiking and walking trails that will start and end at the Center, a small playground, sprinkler park, outdoor pavilion with river views, dog run, boat house storage for kayaks, canoes, etc., sport court, soccer/baseball field, sledding hill and maintenance area. Sustainable Design methods and materials will be used wherever possible.
